Documents to Carry at the Examination Centre
The candidate must know which documents are allowed to be brought into the examination hall. The candidate should bring 3 types of documents to the exam hall:
- ICAI Admit Card
- Identity proof, such as Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, etc., the name on the ID proof must match the name on the admit card.
- Two Passport-sized photographs
You can download your admit card only thrice, so make sure you make many photocopies. CA Inter Examination Authorities will only allow access to the premises with the Admit Card or hall ticket.
CA Intermediate ICAI Exam Form for May 2026
CA Inter students must submit the application form to appear for the May 2026 ICAI exams. The exam form will be completely online, and will be filled within a specific time frame, with an online processing fee for the exams.
How to fill the CA Intermediate ICAI exam form
- Visit the ICAI Official website https://eservices.icai.org and log in to the SSP portal (Student Service portal) with the ICAI registration number (SRO/WRO, etc.).)
- If students can not remember their password, the forgot password option is also available.
- A screen will open where students need to fill in exam-related details and the preferred exam centre. Click on save, and proceed.
- Make an online payment of examination charges, which range from around Rs 1500 to Rs 2700
ICAI Exam Correction Window - It is important to fill in all the fields contained in the exam form carefully. However, after the exam window closes, ICAI will reopen the window once to make any corrections for a certain number of days. Students can rectify any mistake unknowingly, like the exam centre or language on its official website.

Students must make online payments using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, UPI, and soforth. On condition that the student cannot register within the prescribed time. In that case, the student must register with additional late charges: Rs 600 for candidates from India and Nepal, and US$10 for candidates abroad. But after the date (mentioned for the late fee), students are not able to register.
CA Intermediate May 2026 Exam Guidelines
- CA Inter students should be disciplined and maintain decorum in the exam hall.
- If the candidate is caught cheating, talking with fellow candidates, or using digital devices during the exam, an invigilator has the power to disqualify the candidate or take strict action against them.
- Candidates should bring their own pen, pencil, eraser, and calculator during the exam.
- No extra documents for rough work are allowed inside the examination hall
- Exam duration is specified on the question paper. Students are allowed to leave the hall once the first exam is over.
- Candidates should seriously read the instructions written on the question paper and follow them during the exams.
- The candidate must write the roll number, question code, and other details on the answer booklet.
CA Intermediate Exam Day Checklist
