FAQ 2: What are the passing criteria for CA Foundation December 2023 Exams?

Students must get a minimum passing grade of 40% in each paper and a combined total of 50% for all courses in order to pass the CA Foundation exams.

The CA Foundation Exam papers:  paper 1 and 2 is scheduled between 2 pm to 5 pm i.e, for 3 hours. Whereas, papers 3 and 4 will be conducted between 2 pm to 4 pm i.e. for 2 hours.

FAQ 18: How many attempts are allowed for the CA Foundation December 2023?

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) does not restrict candidates from appearing in the CA exams on any number of CA foundation attempts, CA intermediate attempts, or CA final attempts. 

Candidates can give the CA exam attempts as many times as they need to qualify for the exam. 

The only restriction by ICAI is that candidates can only fill out the exam form if the registration period is valid.

After the registration period expires, candidates must revalidate their CA registration. The fees for revalidation are different for each level.
